About Wanda

Wanda Molina’s career and life reveals an extraordinary journey from the heart of New York City’s “El Barrio” to the practice of law in the Tri-State area.  Early in her career, she worked as a New York City Probation Officer (P.O.) and it was during her tenure as a P.O. and as an evening student that she earned her Juris Doctor Law Degree from Seton Hall more than twenty-five years ago.

Molina’s extensive legal career includes working for the Public Defender’s Office Appellate Division (handling criminal appeals), as a per diem attorney for the criminal defense and domestic violence unit of the Legal Services of New Jersey, as an Assistant Municipal Prosecutor and Municipal Public Defender of Jersey City.  Molina was also honored to have served as the Court Director for the Jersey City Municipal Court before she was elevated to the Jersey City Municipal Court bench as Chief Judge from 2004- 2007.
